De Sectie Analytische Chemie van de KNCV en de Hanzehogeschool Groningen nodigen u van harte uit voor The Analytical Challenge 2022. Na een online versie van het symposium vorig jaar hopen we nu weer fysiek bij elkaar te kunnen komen. Het thema dit jaar is “Live a Healthy Life”: hoe analytische chemie een rol speelt in het hebben en houden van een goede gezondheid of het herstellen ervan.
We hebben een aantal interessante sprekers bereid gevonden te vertellen over hoe zij analytische technieken gebruiken in hun werk op dit terrein. Dit varieert van grootschalig bevolkingsonderzoek tot het thuis zelf testen van onze eigen gezondheid, van de samenstelling van ons voedsel tot het garanderen van de kwaliteit van medische scans, en van de ontwikkeling van farmaceutische formuleringen tot onderzoek aan gezond ouder worden.
De bijeenkomst vindt plaats op vrijdag 11 februari 2022 op de Hanzehogeschool, Zernikeplein 11 in Groningen. Klik hier voor de routebeschrijving, parkeren kan op P3. Deelname (incl. koffie/thee, lunch en borrel) is gratis. We vragen u wel om u uiterlijk 1 februari 2022 aan te melden via deze link om zeker te zijn van voldoende catering. Vanwege de Coronamaatregelen wordt het aantal deelnemers dit jaar beperkt tot 75. Hopelijk tot 11 februari!

The Section Analytical Chemistry of the KNCV and the Hanzehogeschool Groningen cordially invite you to The Analytical Challenge 2022. After an online version of the symposium last year we now hope to meet each other again in person. The theme of this year is “Live a Healthy Life”: how analytical chemistry plays a role in keeping or restoring a good health.
A number of interesting speakers will present how they use analytical techniques in their work in this field. This varies from large-scale population research to monitoring our own health at home, from the composition of food to ensuring the quality of medical scans, and from the development of pharmaceutical formulations to researching healthy aging.
The symposium takes place on Friday February 11th, 2022 at the Hanzehogeschool, Zernikeplein 11 in Groningen. For directions, click here, parking at P3. Participation (including coffee/tea, lunch and a reception) is free. We do ask you to register by February 1st, 2022 via this link. Because of the Corona regulations, the number of participants is limited to 75 this year. We hope to see you on the 11th of February!
