Issues addressed during this symposium are:
- For chemists, pharmacists and biologists : the present state-of-the-art of molecular imaging agents, work-in-progress and future developments.
- For medical specialists: developments in a wide range of molecular imaging agents as an add-on to state-of-the-art (hybrid) preclinical and clinical imaging facilities.
HIGHLIGHTS
- An international panel of experts from different fields in clinic and research (imaging specialists, clinicians, biologists, chemists, pharmacists) will discuss recent developments and future perspectives.
- A lecture by Ben Feringa, Winner of the Nobel prize in Chemistry 2016.
- The Wijnberg and Vaalburg Lectures will honor pioneers in the field.
- Poster sessions allowing all participants to present recent work. An independent committee will select 3 prize winners of the best scientific works.
- A post-congress on day 4 on “Photopharmacology”, which may be attended free of charge.
- A symposium set-up allowing for much informal interaction and discussion amongst participants and speakers.
