Molecular Imaging Agents in Medicine

Issues addressed during this symposium are:

  1. For chemists, pharmacists and biologists : the present state-of-the-art of molecular imaging agents, work-in-progress and future developments.
  2. For medical specialists: developments in a wide range of molecular imaging agents as an add-on to state-of-the-art (hybrid) preclinical and clinical imaging facilities.

HIGHLIGHTS

  1. An international panel of experts from different fields in clinic and research (imaging specialists, clinicians, biologists, chemists, pharmacists) will discuss recent developments and future perspectives.
  2. A lecture by Ben Feringa, Winner of the Nobel prize in Chemistry 2016.
  3. The Wijnberg and Vaalburg Lectures will honor pioneers in the field.
  4. Poster sessions allowing all participants to present recent work. An independent committee will select 3 prize winners of the best scientific works.
  5. A post-congress on day 4 on “Photopharmacology”, which may be attended free of charge.
  6. A symposium set-up allowing for much informal interaction and discussion amongst participants and speakers.
  7. An exhibition allowing interaction with representatives of leading industries in the field.
