Supramolecular Chemistry and Self-Assembly over Multiple Scales and Forms
The Conference will present cutting-edge theoretical, simulation and experimental research on self-assembly and supramolecular chemistry over multiple shapes, lengths and time scales. The Conference will feature a wide range of topical discussions, highlighting important fields at the forefront such as programmable self-assembly, supramolecular self-assembly of different shapes in 2D and 3D, and active assemblies, to name a few. The program will be broad, bringing speakers from multiple fields related to supramolecular chemistry and self-assembly to provide an exciting overview and future prospects of the different fields. The chemistries presented will range from natural supramolecular systems to completely synthetically engineered assemblies. Likewise, multiple forms of matter and the role of structural hierarchy in complex supramolecular self-assembly will be discussed. The Conference will bring together a collection of investigators who are leaders in their fields, and will provide opportunities for junior scientists and graduate students to present their work in poster format and exchange ideas with world-class scientists. We hope to foster a collegial atmosphere during the Conference, with programmed discussion sessions planned, as well as opportunities for informal gatherings in the afternoons and evenings, providing an avenue for scientists from different disciplines and walks of life to brainstorm and promote cross-disciplinary collaborations in the vast array of research areas represented.
