Nanomaterials for Sustainable Energy / Health
This year’s edition starts with a plenary lecture on the synthesis and application of nanoparticles by dr. Karl Mandel from Fraunhofer ISC/Würzburg University, followed by two parallel sessions: one on nanomaterials for health focusing on biohybrids, nanomedicine and medical sensors, and one on nanomaterials for sustainable energy focusing on light management in photovoltaics, electrochemical energy storage (batteries) and chemical energy storage (solar fuels). At the end of the symposium, prof. dr. Albert Schenning from Eindhoven University of Technology will provide a plenary lecture on stimuli responsive functional nanomaterials.
